Prices and Polices
Dear Parents and Dancers,
We are very excited that you have chosen to be a part of The Dance Studio. Thank you for the continued support and trusting us with your dancer(s). Classes begin August 11th 2025. Listed below are the prices and policies, please read carefully, and keep handy throughout the year.
-There is a liability waiver that must be signed by the first class.

Prices
Tuition is divided into 10 equal payments throughout the year (August through May). Meaning you pay May tuition regardless when recital is in May. August tuition fee is due by the first class. Tuition every month after is due the 5th of each month, a late fee will be added on the 6th day. Payment preferably through an online payment or a check turned into the check safety box in the hallway at TDS. Payments do not go through individual teachers. You can pay online or drop off cash to the safety box in the TDS hallway.
**No refunds, costume reimbursements, cashing in fundraisers etc. will be allowed. All credit stays in the dancers account to be used for TDS expenses only. Credits may not be transferred to another dancer unless they are a sibling.
Pricing Scale
1 class/week --- $50/month $500/year
2 classes/week --- $85/month $850/year
3 classes/week --- $130/month $1300/year
4 or more classes/week $175/month $1750/year

Costumes
- Costumes will range from $60-$80 each. I will add this fee once the costume has been chosen for your child's class
- If for some reason we are not able to get costumes in budget, there may be a small extra fee. This would be very rare, but more likely for our elite dancers that also use their costumes for competition.
-Dancers will be measured the first week of class for their costumes.
-Costumes are used for Winter and Spring recitals, you will have 2 costumes for the dance season.
-Costume fees do not cover the expense of shoes and tights.
-For orders placed after the studio order has been submitted there may be an additional fee and/or a similar costume may need to be ordered if the costume is out of stock.

Tips for the parents:
- Make sure all of your dancers items are labeled with their name. Especially shoes and water bottles.
- Make sure your dancer has a dance bag to contain all of their items (dance bags must also have their name).
- Extra ponytail holders are a must for dance bags .
- It is ok to not be perfect! If you forget a leotard, don't have the right shoes right away or are running late because your new schedule is crazy - we understand! Us teachers have been teaching dance a long time or have kids of our own. It is ok, please send your dancer anyways! :)
